Chesapeake has relocated its composite tube facility from Bellshill, near Glasgow, to a new factory in nearby Hamilton. Crown Holdings, the metal packaging specialist, more than doubled its 2007fourth-quarter net operating profits from continuing operations to $343m (£l73m). Net sales rose 11.6%. Linpac has renamed its Linpac Plastics division as Linpac Packaging to create "more consistency across the group".
