Environmental concerns are playing a key role in influencing bakery packaging, with more companies attempting to reduce the amount of packaging that goes to landfill. At Interpack, European Bioplastics, the trade association for European producers of bioplastics, will host a showcase for its member firms, many operating in the bakery sector. One such firm is Innovia Films, and biscuits and bakery are core market sectors for the company.
