How do you value creativity? It's a simple question, but we've been waiting a long time for a really con-vincmg answer. The statistics for the UK market are certainly a surprise. According to the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR), the creative sector delivers 7.3% ofUKGDP and is growing at twice the average rate. In comparison, the UK car industry delivers 1.8% of GDP. But this only measures the value of the industry itself, not the total contribution it makes to wealth creation. Just how do you account for the added value that design provides? One obvious example of design delivering addedvalue is Apple
