Caffrey's ale is targeting a younger audience by putting a temperature-sensitive indicator on its packaging to show consumers when to drink it.rnCoors Brewers, which owns the brand, said all new Caffrey's packaging would display a Caffrey's Celtic knot printed in thermochromic ink, which turns blue when it reaches the "ideal drinking temperature".rnThe new packs will be supported by promotional activities in stores when they go on sale this month.rnCaffrey's was developed to be consumed at the same temperature as lagers and is the first ale to use a thermochromic ink design.
