Child-Safe Packaging Group chairman Stephen Wilkins has defended the sector following a Which? report that slammed the use of cartoon characters on the packaging of products aimed at children.rn'Food Fables - the Second Sitting' singled out a number of high-profile brands for criticism over their use of cartoons on packaging to support promotions that, the organisation felt, would encourage children to eat too much unhealthy food.rnWilkinssaid: "It is not inherently wrong to advertise to children, nor is it wrong to brand build a range of children's food by creating desire among children and prompting them to askparents to purchase.
