Unite members working at SCA Packaging, which was acquired by Sociedad Anonima Industrias Celulosa Aragonesa (SAICA) in June, have accepted a 5% pay deal.rnThe settlement covers more than 1,500 workers at 19 plants in the UK and means a 17-month deal for the majority, with a much smaller number on 21-month or 10-month deals.rnUnite national officer Peter Ellis said: "These negotiations should have been settled in April.rn"The SAICA sale and the uncertainty that preceded the announcement meant that discussions have been postponed time and time again."
