"Packaging defeats everyone, so it will always be relevant to inclusive design." These are strong words from Julia Cassim, a senior research fellow at the Helen Hamlyn Research Centre. But she does have a point. Cassim is part of a team at the Centre, based at the Royal College of Art in London, that looks to advance socially inclusive design. This ensures that everyday products - including packaging - can be used by as many people as possible. So if anyone should know how hard it is to produce a pack that works, it's her.
