Inner Mongolia Mongo Alcohol (1) in China has produced an unusual 500ml pack for its liqueur. The glass bottle is shaped like a hand-bell with a raised pentagonal section in the base that has been reverseprinted, ceramically, around the five edges to enable viewing through the clear glass, while screen printing and acid etching have been used on the outer bottle surface. The screw-cap has been specially designed and covers a valved dispenser, both injection-moulded from polypropylene (PP). A shroud of aluminium covers the cap and is screen over-printed. The full bottle is held in a triangular box, with an inside support of expanded polystyrene covered in a plastic pseudo-silk textile. A litho-printed shoulder lid has an embossed cover paper, which features a drilled hole that indicates a tamper-evident device connecting both parts of the box.
