Kodak has formed a strategic development agreement with Bobst in response to increasing demand for new products in the flexible, folding carton and corrugated sectors. The deal means that Kodak technology will be integrated into the Bobst portfolio of packaging production equipment and Bobst is already working on the development of products based on Kodak technology. At the start of September, Kodak exited the US Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and signalled its intention to develop strategic partnerships (Packaging News, October).
