Rigid Containers has completed a new £4m investment to upgrade its corrugating and casemaking capacity at its Desborough site and revealed a further upgrade to its print equipment TheNorthamptonshiresitehas installed a new 2.8m BHS dry-end for its corrugator and a four-colour Latitude casemaker that will improve its capacity to produce shelf-ready packaging. In addition, it has announced plans to add three flexo print units to an existing Bobst SP-160 flat bed die-cutter by the end of the summer, further boosting the site's print capacity. The company reported that the new dry-end of its corrugator has already led to an increase in output.
