Fashion retailer Paul Smith has installed a case closer supplied by Linkx Systems to respond to growing demand for its products packed in cardboard cases. Linkx has provided Paul Smith with a S1AT AS24/650 and SM446 random case closer, which can accommodate any size of case from 300mm × 200mm × 220mm to 800mm × 650mm × 750mm. In addition, the machine can handle cases of varying sizes presented in random order. Gary Cresswell of Paul Smith said: "It's proving reliable and its gives us the capability of handling up to 900 cases per day, which at the present time is more than enough."
