Print-Leeds is set to spend almost £3m on new kit as part of a wider plan to double the size of its factory and increase capacity. The business, which bought S&C Labels in Huddersfield earlier in the year, is planning to centralise its operations in Leeds and increase its floorspace from 1,000m~2 toaround 1,800m~2. Alongside the move, which will happen over the Christmas break, the firm is also investing nearly £3m in a new Heidelberg printing press and platemaking line.
