Contract packer FT Short is promising to "revolutionise the re-labelling market" after a ￡50,000 investment in new equipment. The King's Lynn, Norfolk business has developed and installed anew de-labellerthat, it has claimed, is one of the first of its kind in the UK and allows the automatic removal of labels from glass and plastic jars as well as bottles. It is capable of removing up to 55 labels per minute from either filled or empty containers so they are ready to re-label if required.
