The collection of non-bottle rigid plastic packaging, such as plastic pots and tubs, by councils is causing feedstock problems for plastic bottle reprocessors, according to a new guide by Wrap. Wrap reported that "significant feedstock problems" are caused for the reprocessors "as increasing amounts of mixed plastic packaging dilute the presence ofPET and HDPE bottles".
