German plastic packaging companies expect higher raw material prices in 2012, according toa new survey. The country's plastic packaging body, the Industrievereinigung Kunststoffverpackungen (IK) said that nearly 40% of its members expect higher raw material prices this year, compared to last year. Aluminium company Novelis is set to invest $50m to install a coating line for beverage can end stock at its operations in Pindamonhangaba, Brazil.
