Nearly a third of DS Smith's investors voted against the firm's remuneration report at the paper and corrugated giant's Annual General Meeting in London, last month. The company had put forward bonuses of £570,000 for chief executive Miles Roberts and £357,000 for group finance director Steve Dryden. The resolution was passed with 68.5% of the vote versus 31.5%. Remuneration committee chair Chris Bunker said: "Within an increasingly demanding, competitive and international environment we want our employees to be fairly compensated and incentivised to deliver our strategic vision.
