A new Bobst Expertcut 106 PER is helping Chesapeake s high volume Nottingham pharmaceutical packaging plant to increase throughput on the same production footprint. Chesapeake made the decision to invest in the new die-cutter, as well as a new Komori LSX640 print press, to keep pace with substantial increases in volumes, driven by higher sales. "While our existing equipment was printing and cutting fine, we needed to increase running speeds and reduce makeready times to gain capacity.
