The new series of The Apprentice has started. For many, this is one of the few insights they get into the world of business. But is it a fair and encouraging image? I write this as the teaser adverts are on our screen, with contestant comments such as "I am cold, hard and unstoppable" and "I am ambitious, driven and extremely focused". My concern is that this gives the impression to the wider public that this is the egocentric behaviour that we need in business.
