While food and drink might dominate Interpack, there's one sector that will also have a strong presence - confectionery. A total of 475 exhibitors will travel to Dusseldorf under the confectionery and bakery category. And a staggeringfour halls will represent the market. It shouldn't come as a huge surprise at the moment. A recession can often prove to be a mini-boom for the sector as consumers turn to sweet treats to cheer them up.
