US kit manufacturer Proco Machinery has launched the Multipak Palletizer Packaging System for the bottle market, which incorporates several new automated features. This includes an automatic pallet feed magazine, which stores and feeds the pallets onto a pallet conveyor. In addition the Multipak includes an automatic slip sheet magazine, which stores slip sheets and places them between each pallet layer. An automatic top frame magazine stores top frames and places them on top of the pallet. The Multipack can operate at semi-automatic mode. In fully automatic mode it operates at line speeds of 150 bottles per minute.
