The Royal Wedding has heralded what could be the most expensive confectionery pack of all time after a unique pair of limited edition PEZ packs sold for more than £8,000. In an eBay auction that closed on 17 April the packs, which depict the happy couple, achieved a sale price of £8,200. The identity of the buyer has not been revealed. However, according to PEZ, the winning bidder is based in Conneticut in the US. The £8,200 bid was the buyer's only bid on the item. Austrian firm PEZ said it would donate the proceeds of the sale to the US-based Starlight Children's Foundation.
