'No way'rnrather than Svhy not' is the more likely response to most new propositions for a whole raft of different reasons including a threat to vested interest, not-made-here syndrome and basic inertia. Mostly, though, it's because better usually means new, new invariably means change, and change almost certainly means unpredictable and possibly unpalatable repercussions.
