Around 100 jobs are under threat at a Rexam plastics packaging operation in the US after it was announced the site would close in the fourth quarter of 2010.rnThe news follows the firm's sale of a Wisconsin personal care facility in a management buy-out.rnProduction from the Nashua, New Hampshire facility will be absorbed by other Rexam facilities following the closure and Rexam said it would help employees affected by the move to find jobs and retrain staff where required.rnGraham Chipchase, who took over from Leslie Van de Walle as Rexam chief executive at the start of the year, said the closure was part of the company's plan to align manufacturing capabilities across its global plastics businesses.
