British Glass has appointed Nazeing Glass chairman and managing director Stephen Pollock-Hill as its president. Pollock-Hill, who took over the role on 1 January, has worked in the glass industry for more than 40 years, having started in Nazeing's packing department aged seven. In 2007, he opened the Museum of 20th Century Domestic British Glass displaying part ofhis collection of 3,000 British glass items.
