戦後に衣料用合成洗剤が普及し始めてから約60年の間に「粉末から液体へ移行」,「コンパクト化の進行」そして「詰替え容器の普及(今回触れていないが,現在の液体洗剤市場の8割程度を占める)」という市場の変化に伴い,容器の形態もさまざまに変化してきた。今後は環境問題や高齢化社会などへの対応はもちろんのこと,消費者のニーズに合わせて各社が独自性を打ち出した容器開発を行うことが必要となっていくと考えている。%Fabric detergent began to spread at the end of the 19th century in Japan and its market expanded rapidly with the spread of the washing machines. Initially, detergent was powder and it was packaged in a paper box. Then, a functional container appeared when detergent was concentrated. As the market changed detergent from powder to liquid, its container was also changed from a paper box to a plastic bottle. In this paper, changes of detergent containers are shown by looking back the trend of these markets.
