As is so often the case, corrugated boxes are kept unused for a long time in the storage. The study on whether these boxes remain strong and usable without posing any problem has never been reported until now. We have conducted such study as to examine changes of the stacking height, compression strength, and sheet thickness of the unused A-flute corrugated boxes stacked on the pallet and stored for a year.rnWhen the corrugated boxes were stacked flat, little changes were detected. When the boxes were loaded as heavy as the load when double-stacked, the boxes using MC 160 didn't degrade while those using MC 120 degraded by more than 10% within two months. It is considered that the load decreased the sheet thickness, leading to strength degradation of the boxes.%本研究により，以下のことが分かった。rn1）申しんとしてMC120およびMC160を使rn用した段ボール箱を，それぞれ160枚平積みrn（パレット1段積み，積み上げ高さ約1.6m）にrnして1年間保管しても，積み上げ高さ，箱rn圧縮強度，厚みにほとんど変化が見られなrnかった。
