摘要

This report describes the present situation in adhesive tapes for packaging and the future direction toward which their manufacturers should head, as seen from the view- points of environmental problems, waste disposal and recycling. First it overviews the problems being faced during the manufacture of adhesive products and proposes possi- ble countermeasures therefor. It then describes the preferred future state of affairs for these present issues, focusing on the aspects of manufacturing, raw materials and prod- uct design.
