According to analysts with Great American Group, Inc., paper demand remains stagnant in the face of competition from digital media, while demand for corrugated packaging has fluctuated over the third quarter of 2013 in line with monthly variations in the ongoing economic recovery. "With the growing use of mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablet computers, the world is becoming increasingly paperless," said Ken Bloore, Chief Operating Officer of Great American Group's Advisory and Valuation Services division. "From mobile ticketing apps to online newspaper editions, consumers have myriad opportunities to bypass paper products."
