Ali Arazeem Abdullahi has been a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sociology, University of Ilorin, Nigeria since 2015. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Sociology, University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Dr. Abdullahi has published widely. Most of his works are centered around the socio-cultural context of disease and illness. He is currently working on a book project entitled Contemporary Sociology: An African Perspective.
