Public health refers to all organized measures to prevent disease, promote health, and prolong life. Wellness is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a healthy and fulfilling life. Public health capacity to manage health problems and promote wellness relies on cumulative resources and relationships. There is a growing need for accurate global, regional, and country statistics on population and health. Public health capacity is also very dependent on investment Each country either ignores or establishes a mission to manage the health and safety of its people. Changing the paradigm needs to involve non-governmental organizations (ngos).
