Kourany recommends that both the sciences and the philosophy of science become more socially responsible. I have jive questions. (I) Is a socially responsible science (SRS) possible? (2) Is a SRS desirable? (3) Is a socially responsible philosophy of science (SRPOS) possible? (4) Is a SRPOS desirable? O) Is a SRPOS feasible? My answers are (1) Yes. (2) It depends. (.3) Yes. (4) Probably yes. (5) It depends.
