On 15 May 2009 the Annual Scientific Meeting of the UK-PDPDT interest group was held in Salisbury District General Hospital.rnK. Moghissi, the co-ordinator of the group, welcomed the participants.rnThe programme started with a session on PDT in neu-rosurgery and a lecture by Professor Walter Stummer (Dusseldorf) as the invited speaker. This was followed by a presentation by Mr S. Elajamel, consultant in neurosurgery (Ninewells Hospital, Dundee). The other two sessions in the afternoon were dedicated to gastroenterology, hepa-tology and respiratory medicine, respectively.
