In-plane angular magnetoresistivity Δρ_(ab)~(anis) measurements were made on Y_(1-x)Pr_xBa_2Cu_3O_(7-δ) single crystals in the pseudogap region. For x ≥ 0.2 single crystals, Δρ_(ab)~(anis)(θ) displays a deviation from the typical quasiparticle contribution (∝ sin~2θ) for temperatures smaller than a certain value T_φ in the pseudogap region. This deviation is consistent with a flux-flow type contribution to angular magneto-resistivity, indicating the presence of vortexlike excitations above the zero-field critical temperature in the pseudogap region.
