Soliton-induced critical current oscillations in two-band superconducting bridges

摘要

Using time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau theory we find oscillations of critical current density j_c as a function of the length L of the bridge formed from a two-band superconductor. We explain this effect by the appearance of the phase solitons in the bridge at j < j_c, whose number changes with a change of L. In the case of sufficiently strong interband coupling, oscillations of j_c disappear.
