Because of an error in the numerical calculation, the absorption and electroabsorption spectra shown in Figs. 3, 5, 6, and 7 of the original article were scaled incorrectly. The vertical scales in each of these figures should be multiplied by approximately 1.3. Also, in the caption of Fig. 5, the descriptions for Figs. 5(a) and 5(b) should be swapped. Corrected versions of these figures and corresponding captions are included here. None of the conclusions of the paper are affected by these corrections.
