摘要

Based on a self-consistent mean-field approach, we study electronic structures of two types of doped manganites, Pr_(0.55)(Ca_(0.75)Sr_(0.25))_(0.45)MnO_3 (PCSMO) and Pr_(0.7)Ca_(0.3)MnO_3, by considering both the double-exchange mechanism and Jahn-Teller effect. It is found that for PCSMO either ferromagnetically metallic state or charge-ordered insulator state is stable in a reasonable parameter range, while for Pr_(0.7)Ca_(0.3)MnO_3 the metallic phase cannot be a stable state. These results are consistent with experimental observations that a persistent laser-induced insulator-metal transition could occur in PCSMO, whereas no stable metallic state was detected in Pr_(0.7)Ca_(0.3)MnO_3.
