摘要

Based on a lattice dynamics model and transfer matrix technique, we investigate the phonon transmission and thermal conductance in a quasi-one-dimensional disordered system. It is found that the existence of disorder may greatly destroy the phonon transport on Van Hove singularity which exhibits excellent transparency in case of pure lattice. At deeply low temperatures, the thermal conductance displays quantized features in a temperature range. Such quantization behavior is preserved even in the presence of disorder due to the robust transmission of phonon branches with zero cutoff frequency.
