ROSEN recently concluded its biggest production job ever in terms of converting bare steel pipe to internally coated wear-resistant pipe. As part of a planned production facility upgrade, the project included the installation of newly coated bare steel pipe. To accomplish this, the company delivered 13 miles (21 km) of wear-resistant pipe coated with a RoCoat liner. The pipe was also equipped with a wear-monitoring system that makes it possible to acquire the coating condition "online," enabling better integrity management of the asset.
