Gas distribution utilities operate specialized camera and crawler systems to conduct visual inspection of gas mains that help address a wide range of operational and technical issues. These issues can range from water intrusion into low pressure cast iron mains to visual assessment of valves to verify orientation and proper functionality. For more than 10 years, ULC Robotics has been working with gas utilities to supply equipment and services for visual inspection of live gas distribution mains using the PRX250 Live Gas Main Camera Inspection System, the DWX200 Dewater-ing Camera System and the VGC Live Gas Main Crawler Inspection Systems.
