To Richard Clement, senior manager of sales for the Bayou Companies, the best part of his job is the person on the other end of the handshake. "I just like meeting people. I like talking to people, I like meeting different people from around the country, getting to know them." That affinity has served him well over 40 years in the energy business, and the Houma, LA native knew from the beginning of his career that was where he wanted to work. "At that time the oil industry was pretty big, and that's what I wanted to do. My dad was in it, along with a number of other relatives, and being from south Louisiana - it still is the leading industry in the state."
