After a look back on another active hurricane season in 2011, we will detail the North Atlantic basin tropical forecast for 2012. The forecast will examine the impact of factors ranging from sea surface temperatures in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans to winter rain-fall over western Africa. All of these factors point to a normal Atlantic hurricane season.
