Drill Baby - Drill! Good. But that is not the only way to increase U.S. crude oil supply! Simply, just complete the Keystone pipeline project from next door neighbor, Canada. Second pipeline of the original Canadian/U.S. project, Keystone XL, will bring in more crude from the Canadian sands production (sometimes called "tar sands") into the U.S. The pipeline will come down from Hardisty through roughly the northwest U.S. to crude storage facilities in Cushing, OK and then farther south to the facilities on the Gulf Coast for refining into commercial products. The pipeline will have an additional benefit in transporting U.S. crude supplies from the developing Bakken and Three Forks oil shale fields in the U.S. Northwest, bringing these fast-developing supply sources into greater use across the country.
