Bredero Shaw has successfully completed its first purchase order for application of the new technologically advanced Thermotite~? ULTRA?. The contract was awarded by Mariner Energy for the Balboa Pipeline Project located in the GoM deep-water. Coating began in Q2, 2010 at Bredero Shaw's pipe coating facility in Pearland, Texas and was completed in July 2010. The scope entailed 30,000' of 5.5625" × 0.500" pipe with 47.6 mm of Thermotite~? ULTRA?.
