NDT Systems & Services AG has introduced its latest inspection novelty, the new multi-technology tool 'LineExplorer 3TM' into the international markets. The name '3T ' derives from the three technologies used for inspection: EMAT (Electro-Magnetic Acoustic Transducer), MFL (Magnetic Flux Leakage) and Eddy Current. The additional 'M' stands for the tools mission of detecting and sizing metal loss in pipelines with the proven accuracy and reliability of ultrasonic tools, but without the need of a liquid batch.
