A pipeline trench breaker constructed from a heated poly-urethane foam system is available to the industry by Fomo Products. The Magnum~(TM) system is said to offer a faster and easier approach while allowing job-site portability. ThernMagnum Heated System includes a two-component system housed in a two-ton truck and a length of hose up to 150 feet with an application gun. Using one truck and a single Magnum system, contractors can build 12 breakers compared to the two breakers built using one truckload of sandbags. The system has an "extensive" length of heated hose to carry foam from the tank to the site of application, all while keeping the contents at a warm, consistent temperature despite external weather conditions. The truck can park at the bottom or top of an incline and one worker can take the hose to the breaker site and spray quickly and safely without having to stop.
