Tinker & Rasor has announced the release of the Model APS high voltage holiday detector. The Model APS is a portable, "stick-type" holiday detector used to electrically inspect coatings on pipelines and other structures for holidays. The Model APS has more than 15 improvements over currently available designs, all garnered over the last few years from customers and users of the equipment. The instrument is the product of more than three years of development and two years of testing in the field. It represents the latest in electronics in the industry, with a new design and numerous improvements over previous, similar instruments, while maintaining the same accessories of those previous designs.
