A new pipeline services company, Synergy Chemicals-Pipeline Division, is offering a simple and inexpensive solution for the oil and gas industry facing federal regulation to rid thousands of miles of pipelines of the contaminant known as iron sulfide and commonly referred to as black powder. Every major pipeline company experiences some problem with this contaminant.
