BTC Pipeline Work Proceeding Smoothly The International Pipe Line & Offshore Contractors Association (IPLOCA) recently concluded its 38th annual convention in Berlin, Germany, Sept. 6-10. Some 550 attended the convention which featured numerous business meetings, receptions, golf and a cultural program. The IPLOCA named new officers at the event and a new board of directors. The newly named officers are: Scott Summers - president; Issam Shammas - 1st vice president; Hein Mulder — 2nd vice president; Yasar Pakel, treasurer; and Alex Kudryavtsev, immediate past president.
