A panel of corrosion experts from the U.S. and the United Kingdom recently discussed the state of corrosion control in gas pipelines and distribution system for Pipeline & Gas Journal readers. Interacting through the editors of PG&J, the following veterans offered a compelling perspective on challenges facing the pipeline industry today: 1. Daniel Ersoy, Materials Scientist, Gas Technology Institute (GTI), 2. Ed Ondak, former Senior Technical Advisor for the U.S. Department of Transportation, Office of Pipeline Safely (OPS), 3. Paul Gustilo, P.E., Managing Director, Technical Services, American Gas Association (AGA), 4. John T. O'Shea, Chief Corrosion Chemist at Advantica Technologies in the United Kingdom and President of the UK's Institute of Corrosion.
