If electric vehicles are to be embraced in America, they will nneed to be charged in a way that meets their owners’ needs, nand that is the idea behind Ecotality’s two announcements last nweek, one on fast charging and another on installing charging nstations at Best Buy retail outlets in selected cities.n Ecotality is leading a broad EV project that received $114.8 nmillion in stimulus funding from the Department of Energy, ninvolving EV deployments and charging station infrastructure nto be added in 16 cities across five states and in Washington, nDC. The five states are Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington nand Tennessee, and the agreement with Best Buy calls for charg-ning stations to be added at Best Buy stores in Tucson, Arizona, nPhoenix, Los Angeles, San Diego and Seattle.
